The Counselling Psychologist Forum

THE FORUM is a place where articles and book reviews of interest to DCoP members can be uploaded. Existing articles include those on important subjects such as IAPT and counselling psychology, the NHS in Scotland, working in an assertive outreach team, to name a few. Do look and see what you might read and contribute to the Forum. Counselling psychologists work in such a wide range of arenas that it would be wonderful to hear more about your work or of strategic developments in services important to counselling psychologists and our clients. Equally, if you have read a book that you think colleagues would welcome do write a review of it and send to the Forum for uploading. Articles and reviews can be sent to:

Dcopwebforumeditor@bps.org.uk

NEW to the Forum is its link to the DCoP Facebook page for those who would like the opportunity to discuss any of the uploaded articles further. As yet the new BPS website does not facilitate this level of member network interactivity although this may be a development that emerges, so for now when an article is uploaded you will also find a link to the DCoP Facebook page should you want to discuss it with colleagues. Of course this is not obligatory at all.

PRIZE: A prize of a book - ‘’The Little CBT Workbook’’ by Michael Sinclair and Belinda Hollingsworth is offered for the first new practice related article to be submitted and uploaded.

I very much look forward to working with you to develop our FORUM.

With very best wishes

Barbara
