Training

Training to be a counselling psychologist is a very interesting but also long and demanding task. This section includes information about the different training routes to becoming a counselling psychologist, information for those already in training, information about continuing professional development (CPD) and details of the trainee prize which is awarded annually.

Union

Trainees are eligible to join the UNITE union. As a student that you can join the Union for £12.96/year. Details of the work of the UNITE Applied Psychologists' Occupational Advisory Committee can be found here.
